Welcome!
I’m a sixth-year Ph.D. candidate in Information Systems at NYU Stern School of Business. I’ve always been fascinated by technology and how people engage with it. In particular, I study how people understand and use information that technology provides when making decisions. To explore these questions, I use quantitative methods to model and measure human behavior, bringing together insights from technology, economics, and behavioral science.
My recent work has focused on large language models (LLMs) as advisors. LLMs are powerful tools that are rapidly transforming how advice is given across many fields. Unlike traditional algorithms, they can communicate in natural language, explain their reasoning, and even answer follow-up questions. Through online, field, and lab experiments, I study how people respond to advice from LLMs—how they perceive it, whether they trust and use it, and whether it helps them make better decisions.
